Classic or Premier Soccer is a year round endeavor. Tryouts are in May for the U11-U14 players, and August for U15-U19 players.

High School Programs
U14 players who will be entering their high schools as Freshman and are considering playing soccer need to make sure they contact the school right away. Many high school teams participate in summer leagues which give incoming freshman a chance to play with other players who they will be attending school with and also get to know the high school coaching staff in a less formal setting. All high schools have preseason camps and tryouts prior to school starting. If players are serious about playing in high school they need to understand that they need to attend these events. In order to tryout for high school soccer players also must have a physical. All of this information can be obtained by calling their respective high school.

For those players who either do not make a team at their high school or would rather have something a little less intense, there is the High School Co-Ed league. This is a very successful league and teams are formed at many of the local high schools. More information can be found at portlandsoccer.org.
